I love it when I come across recipe blogs that have good, normal, easy looking recipes on them. I came across this blog yesterday and found some great recipes. Below are two of them:
German Pancake:
6 eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 cup butter
Beat eggs at medium speed until thick and lemon colored. Add milk, flour and salt. Mix well.
Heat butter in a 9x13 pan until melted. Pour batter over melted butter in pan. Bake at 450 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Serve hot with syrup or sauce recipe below.
Vanilla Butter Sauce:
1 stick butter
1 12 oz. can evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
2 tsp. vanilla (I added more than the original recipe...which called for 1 tsp.... since I love the taste of vanilla)
Add all ingredients to a sauce pan. Cook and stir over medium heat until butter melts and sugar dissolves. Freeze leftovers.
